We honor veterans because they fought to protect
our freedoms. Our country does NOT do
enough to honor them today.
I honor my stepmother as she tried her best to
be a good mother. We had lots of good
times, and we had our bad ones.
I had just sent out letters, and this last one
will not reach her. But I know my sister
said that mom adored the “every other week” personally designed letters and
matching envelopes that I sent. Now that
she is gone, I am so glad I did them.
I saw her this last summer at the end of
June. I just had a feeling that this
would be her last year. She only went
into the nursing home in the beginning of this year after living with her
daughter, my half-sister, for about six or seven years. Going into the nursing home was okay with
her. She was surrounded by many others
her age, and she liked her roommate.
Next week, my blog will up in the air, due to
circumstances, but it will pick up again shortly. I will still only be doing a two-day post
each week: Mondays and Fridays.
I have made quick frames today, as they make
scrapping so much easier. All but one
have an example that would make cute cards.
Enjoy!
