Thank You, Granddaughter, for Honoring Me!

Good Wednesday (11.2.16) morning!  I want to thank you, granddaughter, for honoring me.  Today's simple graphics are meant to honor this young person, and all your young people, too.

If you are a reader of this blog, you know that I do daily family pictures of my grand kids as well as all the other physical pictures of family members in the Hampton clan.  My grandparents, my grown kids, my kids when they were young, my grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, spouses, sisters, nieces and nephews.  If you are in my family, I try to get what pictures of you I have and get them up there on our private group.

You also know that I send out personal letters every other Monday. These are colorfully-decorated and each have a new joke each week. There’s a blurb that tells something about me; their maternal grandmother, so that when I go, they will have known about me.  My oldest granddaughter is putting them in plastic cover protectors for her notebook.

That is a wonderful way to collect her and our family history.

My daughter home schools her youngest child, and she is doing about 1st grade work.  In their home group, she had to give a presentation.

She chose ME!  She took in her last letter received and a picture of ME and her Papaw.

My darling daughter video-taped it and posted it to our private family page, and tagged me in it so it would alert me.

Oh my!  How wonderful it was.  She did great, and I was so proud to be her grandmother. I was also proud to be honored in such an artful, heart-felt way!

So I now feel that I am making a difference.

What little steps can you take to make a big difference in your own family’s lives?

I hope you enjoyed this story, and that it makes you search yourself to see how you can be more involved with future staying power (history-wise).  I may go down in history as the family memory keeper historian.

And now … onto my own FREE offerings today.  Just right click and save to your own computer.  Put a copy of my card in the folders you build, and you’ll always know where you got the graphics.  And, of course, it’s there for you to SHARE! SHARE! SHARE!

Just right click and save to your computer.  All graphics are made by me!

Today graphics are mostly coloring pages, and geared toward those who enjoy coloring in your own family.  The top picture was Color Me Butterfly 1.  The others that will follow shortly are:

Color Me Butterfly 2, Color Me Lion, Colored Gang with area for coloring the background, just a large coloring page, and two card fronts for cards (one for a birthday).  I have one colorful frame to be used in scrapping or in creating a card.

Here goes:

Okay!  That’s it for today’s graphics.  Use them with some pre-made cards and envelopes, and your cards will just take a minute to get together. (I hate to see Halloween end….).

Remember to grab my card!

I’d appreciate any and all comments.  Please take a moment to leave one below.  And thanks!
